Terms of Service — The Grokables™ Learning World

These Terms are a simple agreement between you (the parent or guardian) and The Grokables (a sole proprietorship), reachable at grokville@mail.grokbot.com ("we," "us"). By starting a trial or membership, you agree to them.

1. Who can join

Memberships are bought and managed by an adult 18 or older. Kids play; grown-ups pay. Kids don't create accounts.

2. Free sampler

The free "Try It Out" sampler (including the Grokulator) needs no sign-up and no payment.

3. 7-day free trial

Free trial: A parent or guardian can start a 7-day free trial with just an email address. No card is needed to start. One free trial per family. To keep your membership after the trial, add a payment card before day 7. If you don't add a card, your trial simply ends and you are never charged. Once you add a card, your membership renews automatically at $5.00/month, billed monthly to that card, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Manage Subscription on our site, the link in your receipt email, or by emailing grokville@mail.grokbot.com. If you cancel after you're billed, you keep access until the end of that paid month, with no partial refunds.

4. Automatic renewal

It's month-to-month: no yearly plan and no contract. We'll tell you ahead of time, by email, about any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.

5. Canceling

Cancel anytime in 1 click through Manage Subscription on our site or the link in your receipt email, or email grokville@mail.grokbot.com.
If you cancel after being billed, you keep access until the end of that paid month. Then it stops.
No partial-month refunds. If a charge was a mistake, email us and we'll make it right.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Charges appear as THE GROKABLES.

7. Educational fun, with grown-ups nearby

The Grokables is for educational entertainment. It isn't medical, safety-training, therapeutic, or professional advice. Please supervise children, especially with kitchen, outdoor, and pet activities.

8. Our stuff

All characters, stories, art, music, videos, and names, including The Grokables™, Grokville™, Planet Grokulus™, Grokulating™, and Levels of Grokability™, are © 2026 The Grokables. Your membership is for personal, at-home family use. Please don't copy, resell, or reupload the content.

9. Not affiliated

The Grokables is an independent creation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI, SpaceX, X, Tesla, Elon Musk, or Mars, Inc.

10. Fair use of the service

We may suspend a membership used for abuse, resale, or repeat-trial misuse. We do our best to keep the site running, but it's provided "as is," and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid in the last month.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we'll post it here and email members before it takes effect.
